Dear Friends,

 

I am pleased to announce my graduation from the BA (Hons) Photography course at Blackpool and the Fylde College, an affiliate of Lancaster University. 

 

On this occasion I would like to invite you to my exhibition which will take place in Media City in Manchester, UK on the 8-11th June 2017.

 

My work The Gift features a raw and real, rarely seen, edge of Blackpool. The images being displayed are part of my work documenting this Black Pool.

 

The Gift is visual storytelling that reaches into the depths of normalcy to find its manifold inversions, with carefully calibrated doses of everydayness and disillusion. It’s a story of life and death, of desire and the inability to avoid it; of self-destruction brought on by the brutal honesty of repeatedly failed attempts at self-fulfilment.
